2018 Elections U.S. Midterm Off-Year Begin March in Texas

The 2018 U.S. general midterm elections take place in November. States will also host party primary elections to decide runners. Statewide primary elections can take place during any month, and voters must familiarize themselves with their month per state in order to be prepared to help choose the picks for candidacies. The Federal Voting Assistance Program has this information for state primary voting months.

AKA off-year elections, the primary and general midterm elections comprise the federal congressional representative elections and state and local gubernatorial, mayoral, and legislative. Not all offices are up for election during midterms, being otherwise staggered. It's necessary to follow our local area news bulletins in order to remain informed of the political news relevant to our local, state and federal districts.
