Monday Blogs: "How London Became a Playground for the Rich" by Henry Wismayer

Much of what's wrong with the world today is a reflection of the decimation of natural resources that would otherwise be available to subsistence. Most land is now spoken for, due to sheer numbers of risen populations. Only money helps a person get by.

Where is the money?

If you think social programs (dispensed in non-discriminatory patterns) are at fault, think again. If you think public overuse of common resources is at issue, consider the private decimation of anything in its money-making way. There is no difference that prompts neglect of the public's human need in favor of the spoils of privatization.

Look beyond our own troubled borders and realize what's coming if we're not able to restore the idea of common areas over privatized resources, and regulate real estate to better heed the needs of the People who make up our communities.

Possible misunderstanding, not lie, could be blamed for long prison sentence of unregistered voter

If you didn't know anything about politics and weren't familiar with a foreign government's operational standards and terminology, couldn't you mistake the classification "legal permanent resident" as 'citizen'?

Did Rosa Maria Ortega really "lie" about being a U.S. citizen? She reportedly says that she "had no idea" that she wasn't eligible to vote.   Read more: Texas voter fraud case lands woman in prison for 8 years

Neither Democrats nor Republicans are Working for the People

Neither major political party has offered much for the People.

It appears that whatever happens, we need an election that refrains from harping on our most contentious social issues in efforts to collect partisan votes, and instead offers substantial, realistic solutions for mending our system in a way that creates an economic space denizens can sustain--and which sustains them. This will earn the right candidate a majority of bipartisan votes.

Independent inspiration: "A party will have to run on a platform that increases taxes and decreases spending, and then they’ll have to get elected." Read more . . .
